Account Deactivation Request

Deactivate your Vigilante account without deleting it immediately. After email confirmation, you have seven days to reactivate by logging in and confirming an email OTP.

Deactivation is recoverable for seven days. To restore the account, attempt to log in and confirm the OTP sent to your email. Permanent Delete Account is a separate in-app action.

Common questions

Will my account be deactivated immediately?
Not on the first submit. We send a confirmation link first. Deactivation begins only after you open it.

How do I reactivate?
Attempt to log in during the next seven days. We will send a reactivation OTP to your account email. Confirm the OTP, then log in normally.

What happens after seven days?
A deactivated account that is not reactivated within seven days is permanently deleted.

Is deactivation the same as Delete Account?
No. Delete Account is a separate in-app action that permanently deletes the account and its associated database records.
